I find I work best by creating some sort of order out of chaos so that establishing new directions can be instance. The fine art drawings are all work in progress toward my final degree show for my masters.  The plan for this sculpture is to draw spontaneously.  To do this I need to make the drawing hand an extension of my thinking as it make contact with a surface.

For the open studios I stack the work against the wall so that an informal viewing could be achieved.  This hands on approached to the artwork was so that the viewer is given the sense that they can discover artworks of their choice, giving  them temporary ownership.  Its was meant to be a very simple way to connect with the viewer and as the artwork were all framed,  I was pleased to see that they felt that they could pick up and hold their favourite  giving me an unspoken feedback that was gratefully received.  Big thanks to those who got stuck in.
